HALloween on HAL?

I was inspeired to ask this when I saw the Thanksgiving post.

Anyone know of any special Halloween fun on HAL? We'll be on the Oosterdam.

I'm sailing on the Maasdam on 10/30 and well be at sea on Halloween. From what I've heard HAL doesn't do too much with Halloween, so we are going to make our own fun. I'm going to wear a Halloween T-Shirt and DH and I might hand out some candy just for the heck of it! We are also going to bring along a Halloween door decoration...lol. Cheesy, I know, but it'll be fun!

We were on a cruise over Halloween once and I saw some of the funniest costumes I had ever seen. In fact I wondered how they managed to pack as much as they did. It was fun but other than the few people in costumes, there wasn't much else going on. We did bring bags of candy to the kids play area and while I think they appreciated it, I also think they found it odd.
