How many bearwatching trips were offered on your cruise? Was both Traitors Cove and Neets Bay offered?
Only Neets Bay was offered on my September 19th cruise.

The Traitors Cove excursion I booked last year (first week of Sept) was canceled due to the fact that the tour had not seen any bears during the prior 3 weeks.

We didn't see one bear while in Alaska, either on a tour or in the 12 days we spent beforehand driving around the state. However, while in Whistler we had a 600lb black bear wander into our back yard! That was awesome!! and one of the major highlights of our trip
