Thanks for the link. The Oosterdam looks great. I love watching the cruise ships in the canal.

Fantastic....I actually was awake enough to catch this! Thanks for the reminder. If you go to www.celebrityatsea.com (http://www.celebrityatsea.com) you can link to the Summit bridge cam and see the Oosterdam in the next lock.

Randy: How did you know that was the Celebrity Summit before it became really visible?
I saw the navy blue color and thought it was another HAL ship!

No real secret......I visit both HAL and Celebrity parts of the board and one of the Celebrity posters just mentioned the Summit was in the Canal. Pulled up the cam and could see the Odam next to her. Anybody who misses the Oosterdam in the locks this morning can go to the Celebrity site and pull up the bridge cam pictures for the Summit....even days later as Celebrity keeps an archive of bridge cam shots for most of their ships.

I wish I would of caught this thread 20 minutes ago, That is really neat. I will definitely book mark this one also. They really have a neat view. Wish HAL would do this for it's ships.

Wow! This is the first time I have seen a ship in the panama canal. I had no idea it was so small!

Anyone here? Because I could swear I 'm watching the Summit right behind the Oosterdam which is approaching the bridge. Yet someone else said this happened earlier. I'm confused!!! I'm watching on the Summit webcam and the other webcam site.

No, that is what is happening. They went through the Miraflores locks, are now in the lake and will soon be in the Gatun locks.
