Thanks you Gizmo. Just getting ready to stuff the turkey, a job I hate. :p Have a homemade apple pie for the adults and ice cream for the children. - we don't like pumpkin pie.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and can't wait for it to come, today I am wishing I was Canadian! Have a great holiday. I am cooking a chicken and will pretend it is a turkey.

We are Canadians celebrating Thanksgiving - and we are giving thanks for all of our friends around the world ... the "electronic" friends such as on these boards, and otherwise. We are thankful for good health and for the opportunity to cruise and explore parts of the world we never thought we'd see. We're also thankful for being able to meet so many amazing people, both crew and passengers, on those trips. And yes, we are thankful for the frozen tundra called Saskatchewan where we live.:p
I think one of the reasons we have Thanksgiving so early is that we're not sick of turkey at Christmas.:D
Smooth Sailing! :) :) :)

Thank you Gizmo. We've just returned from a wonderful meal with some friends - the turkey was done to perfection; the dressing was just right; the cranberry sauce was fresh; the sweet potatoes, sprouts etc. etc. were delicious. Pumpkin pie to die for with lashings of whipped cream ..........we had a great meal with wonderful company - what more can we ask! Now stuffed and ready to sit back and relax.............
Happy Thanksgiving -
Happy Columbus Day to our American neighbors :)

Thank-you from all those who have wished us Canucks a Happy Thanksgiving and hope all my fellow Canadians are having / had a great one!
All our family is stuffed with turkey, cranberry sauce, peas pudding, stuffing, boiled vegetables, and of course pumpkin pie (with LOTS of whipping cream!)
Hope all Americans have as good a Thanksgiving as we just finished

What, pray tell, is "peas pudding"? Never heard of that.
Our turkey was delicious along with the mashed potatoes, fresh cranberry sauce, gravy, and veggies. No pumpking pie here - just plain old apple pie. One load of dishes done and now for the posts and pans. :p
