My husband and I are thinking about a short Caribbean cruise in November 2009 and found the Ryndam out of Tampa on Nov.15th But, on the Thread "Cruising CCer's list for 2008-2009-2010, which was updated on Dec.1 2008, it shows the Ryndam on 11/09/09 going to the Panama Canal. As there are many cruises being cancelled, does anyone know if HAL's website is correct and the CC's Thread is wrong?

HAL's site is correct. The changes were made back in October. I assume that the poster who indicated that he was taking the Ryndam through the Panama Canal in November 2009 just hasn't notified the moderator (or the cc member who updates that list) that that trip was canceled.

You posted this, MadMan, while I was still researching. You are correct, of course. According to the signature of the CC in question, he will be on the Statendam for that Panama Canal Cruise in October of '09. I'm sure he'll update his info for the Cruising CCer's List as soon as he thinks of it.

No one should ever take that list as gospel - it's just for fun.
