so my boyfriend has given me the task of trying to find a way for us to tour a cigar factory while in Samana. i'm thinking that there isn't anything close enough, but does anybody have info?

I asked Catherine DeLaura for you. I've been communicating with her about setting up a Playa Rincon excursion in Samana. She's an American married to a Dominican & they live in Las Galeras north of Samana. She says
No factory near Samana. I can think of one in Santo Domingo(3 hours away). There is a good cigar shop in Samana in the gingerbread shoppies.
