We have a couple of questions we hope can be answered and we know you folks were the people to ask. We will be on the Veendam's New Years Cruise and want to know if 1. Holland America lets you disembark any time you want if you carry your own luggage? 2. Is there a way to register your credit card for your ship board account prior to boarding? 3. And is main sitting at 6:00 or 8:00?

Being as you are an independent and taking your own luggage off the ship, don't count on getting a low number and being able to disembark right away. Those groups are always among to get called last. People that have planes to catch and tours to do will get called first.

Is there a way to register your credit card for your ship board account prior to boarding? You do it at the dock, I'm not sure if you can call and do it prior. 3. And is main sitting at 6:00 or 8:00? Main seating is 6:15 and 8:30, early Main seating is 5:45 and 8:15pm

There has been some talk about one of the ships changing the dining times. Have no idea if this will become permanent on all ships or not. You should call ship services around the first part of December to confirm which times are which and find out what time you will be dining.

The main seating is considered the two later times, 8:15 and 8:30.

On the Veendam last year the 8:15 is upstairs, 8:30 downstairs.
