Angie,

What sort of guy do you think I am :-) You ask me about the bikini's in the shop, about the bars and now the casino.

I can assure you are I don't wear woman's clothing, I don't drink and I don't gamble....well not during the week :-)

What do you want to know about the casino, it's fairly small from what I remember - I didn't go in last time but do intend to have a flutter this time round to help pay for my excursions!

Cheers....Steve

Hi Angie,

No problem, when I come back I will give you and Wullie a full run down of everything so hopefully that will help you 2.

Steve,
Don't go out of your way, you are on holiday, so enjoy yourself, but will look foward to your review :)
But please no photos of you lying on the sunbed in your bikini you bought onboard before wandering into the bar then heading to the casino to spend your partners money, I'm almost sure I will have that experience when I go, but can't think who it will be, any ideas? :D lol

Hi Angie & Wullie,

As you say not long to go now! And I must admit I need it as it is more than a holiday, its my honeymoon! We got married on Saturday (Angie, you know what the weather was like in Kent don't you!), so just working (!!) 3 days before we set off.

Angie, I hope your husband survives the redundancies, we had about 60 people go about a month ago.

Now before I go, are you sure you don't want the bikini photo's? :-) People will pay alot of money for them!

Wondered where you had been the last couple of days !!!

Congratulations Steve, nice to hear a bit of good news. So forget the review, your honeymoon is more important. Being a married man of nearly 37 yrs, can I offer you a piece of advice. Tell your wife to remember the husband always has the last word, it's "Yes Dear" :D

As far as job losses go,we are the exact opposite, our company is taking people on(between 30-40), but I appreciate we are lucky in this economic climate. I work for an Agrichemicals company (was ICI, when I started there 29 years ago).

Have a drink on me as well and put it on Anjes' tab lol, us scots have a reputation to live up to :)

Sounds like I can a have a few drinks on you two then if i have a drink on Angie's tab at each bar :-)

Wullie, don't worry I've learnt those words already! I've been well trained :-)

Probably won't get time to write tomorrow as I will have to do some work to clear my desk, so I'll write a review after I get back. Hope you both and your families have a great Christmas & New Year/Hogmanay.

Best Wishes
Steve

Wish I had been introduced to this website earlier than I had. You sound as if you have received lots of info. Celebrating our 40th anniversary on this cruise - see you have three to go. Years ago people were old when they had their ruby wedding and here are we looking forward to ziplining in St Lucia. Perhaps we will meet at Glasgow. Leaving for there from Edinburgh today.

Hello wullie, just found this site and its only 3 days til cruise!! our flights out of glasgow at 10am thurs. you got short straw wullie re gatwick departure?

If island star is near par with ocean village, that'll do us, cant be ar*ed with all the pomp some cruisers go for. done 5 cruises so far and although no one gets 100% satisfaction, we have thoroughly enjoyed every float on a boat!!:D

may be see you on board

Hi Andy,
We're on the same flight from Glasgow, it starts from Gatwick so our 10am departure is wholly dependant on it departing Gatwick when it should, which is dependant on what time it comes in from Calgary because they use the same plane !!! :D

We SHOULD get there before you as our flight is 10.30 from Gatwick - direct to Barbados.

just had a trial pack - 23.5 kg ! so did it again - now 17kg - no doubt this will go up over next 2 days !

See you on board !
