Seems to me Sail's cruise was Saturday to Saturday or am I off. She should be home by now or was she adding some days down here in sunny FLA to add to her enjoyment;) ?
If you're back, Sail, or when you're back ... WELCOME HOME:) and how about a "tell all!!!"

Depending on DH's work schedule - they are either flying home late today
OR
will be flying home tomorrow.
Her DH does get a lot of vacation time - and they have to work around getting direct, first class air home.
They have been doing this Ft Lauderdale schedule for years and usually spend one or two days in Ft Lauderdale before the cruise and either one or two days after the cruise there before flying home.

Patience, little one. It was posted in another thread that sail was spending a couple of days in Florida before heading home. :)
Do you really doubt she'll post as soon as she can?
(KK---you must type faster than I do).

"little one"???:D I think not...
Taszmom was also on that cruise and lives near me and I've not seen here either. She should definitely be back by now.

Since we didn't hear from sail last night, it looks like they are flying home today.
Maybe she will post this evening.

I didn't realize that I was typing that fast. I type rather slow - 2 arthritic fingers on each hand do all the typing.

S7S, welcome home. I impatiently await your review.
RuthC, I love your philosophy of chocolate. And, of course, I love chocolate.

I bet Sail and DH took the extra day because of today being Columbus Day/Holiday. I would guess she will be back on line sometime this evening.

Maybe they made her a deal onboard that she couldn't refuse and decided to stay for another week... :)

Well, I know for sure her "ship came in" because I emailed Tazsmom and she's back but up to her ears in getting stuff done. She was on the same cruise. She promised to post soon.
You're all probably right, with this being Columbus Day (I'm retired and never think about these things;) ) they probably took the extra day.
Come home, Sail!!! We want to hear everything!:p

Hi Sail, I saw you posted a little while ago so we know you are back.
Welcome back, I am sure it is good to get back home although I am also sure it was hard to leave the ship Saturday morning. We are all waiting to hear what happened.:p

Hi Everyone.......:) We're home (and not all that happy about it ;)
Well...it is good to be home but I sure miss Zuiderdam.
Thank you so much for this nice thread. Such a nice Welcome Home.
We had a wonderful time.....no surprise there!!! I know not everyone has had the most perfect experience on Zuiderdam (and I do not claim our experience was PERFECT) but it sure was very, very good.
I'm just doing a little 'board catch up reading' and will post some comments about our cruise in the next few days.

S7S-
Good to see you had a lovely trip!! Getting home is so hard, that first day home you want room service and there are no breakfast order forms on your pillow the night before.:o
Looking forward to hearing your comments of the cruise and of HMC!

Sail, so good to have you home!!! You were missed. In fact, you may not see it but Gretchen had a threadearly in the week saying how she missed you and the boards just weren't the same without you. So we were thinking about you.
When you get caught up, please tell all. We can't wait. BTW, everyone pretty much behaved themselves while you were gone:D .

Welcome Home S7S. You always provide us with great info and reviews. Can't wait to hear all the details of Z and also what you have planned for the next cruise. You should write a book. Glad you had a great time!

Ruth, I tried to be careful with my words ... I said "pretty much behaved";) ! "pretty much" being the operative word.
BTW, off topic, I prefer the Dove dark chocolates to the dark Hershey's XXX's. I've eaten a couple of bags of each just to make sure:D

Glad to hear everyone played nicely.......Are you going to give a hint to the teeny, tiny, bit of mischief? :) :D :p

Glad to hear everyone played nicely.......Are you going to give a hint to the teeny, tiny, bit of mischief? :) :D :pJust the usual, dress code, tipping, the Captain of the Rotterdam trying to kill everybody. Just a typical week at CC.

Hee hee!;) Wouldn't it be more fun for you to poke around a bit and see if you can find anything?
I think it was mostly dress code again. Ekerr was asking how to handle her husband's arm being in a cast for formal night so you can imagine what transpired from that!
And there's 2 stimulating threads about changes at HAL with the appointment of Mr. Meadows ... some of the posts being somewhat lengthy, but interesting nonetheless. That's part of the reason I'm looking forward to your thoughts about the Zuiderdam because of your long history travelling with HAL. I haven't sailed HAL for 2 years and I'm concerned that I'm going to be disappointed based on some of what I read here.
So whenever your ready!!!!:D

Welcome home, Sail! So glad you had a nice trip, and I am looking forward to your review. I am especially interested in HMC's cabanas. Get some rest, and then get those typing fingers going again!!! :D

I love that quote, as well, dakrewser. :)
And, I'm also getting a kick out ofBrian's: "It's six o'clock....Do you know where your Bartender is?" :D
We have some clever folks hanging around here. :)

Sail, promise I'm not pushing or hurrying you, but I'm really looking forward to your review of the cruise beyond HMC (I loved that post by the way:) ). Since you are a seasoned HAL cruiser I will value your opinion about the general feel on the Vista class service and food as compared to, for instance, your recent Maasdam experience.
Looking forward to it! No pressure;) !!!
