Zuiderdam A5182 please advise

Just was assigned A5182 at the stern of the ship. Please advise pros and cons.
Wife and I are walkers so position at the stern is not a problem.

Do you like a lot of sun? Verandah has very little protection from the sun.

Also - passengers from the above decks can see what you are doing on your verandah.

Have you searched Aft Cabins on this board? There are a lot of varying opinions. If you don't mind the lack of privacy (most of the verandah can be seen from the lido) or the fact that you can feel the motion more in a cabin at one end of the ship or the other. The aft cabins seem to have their fans and those who don't like them too. The size of the verandah seems to be the big plus. It's not covered like the side cabins, so you will be in the sun/elements out there. Go to Candy's links to see pix:

Anyway, I think the aft cabins look great and we are in 5181 in December. Would like to here your opinion of the cabin when you get back!:)

We'll be in 5181 next month, so I'll post more photos for you. The balconies are huge on the wake, and we were never bothered by trash, soot, noise or voyeurs when we were in 6167. I am so jazzed about this cruise!

That would be wonderful Candy! Something to look forward to. We are 60 days from leaving town and I can't wait!

I just returned from the Z and was in 7128 and loved every minute of it. It is warmer than the other rooms because the sun is always on the back but when we arrived on board I asked for a fan and it was brought immediately and it worked great inside and out and if you keep the curtains closed in the late afternoon it was fine. I loved the size of the verandah - the view - the furniture, etc. When you would leave port you always got the best view. We couldn't tell the vibration or movement was any worse than anywhere else in the boat. As far as trash was concerned we did have a couple of straws, a couple of cigarette butts and very little noise but we were up higher - the folks from lido could look directly down on us but we really didn't pay attention to them. We had our very own star (and moon) show every night and you could set there and watch the wake and it would put you to sleep. I don't think you will be sorry but the same could be possible any where in the boat. Look at the pictures that Candy had posted - that room was directly beneath where I was and she had all good things to say about it too (mine wasn't the large suite verandah though.)
