Hi Guys,
I've dropped an email to Island asking if we are getting fuel rebates. With the cost of oil falling as it has most of the other cruise lines are giving rebates or on board credit for those who have already paid.
I wil keep you posted on any reply I get.
Have you heard anything Steve?

Hi Wullie,
No, not heard a thing. I hadn't even thought about that so will also make some enquiries.
Cheers.....Steve

Guess the short answer is no, although if they can predict things like that maybe I should ask them for winning lottery numbers :)
"Dear Mr Lambie
Thank you for your email, which I forwarded to my Manager for his input.
I have been advised that we are not at this time removing/reducing fuel levies, as this possibility was looked at for the season some time ago.
The industry will be monitored but cruise operators such as Royal Caribbean and P&O and Carnival Cruise lines will be driven by the U.S market /guidelines for their decision on refunds.
I hope this has answered your question for you "

Hey Wullie!
we didnt imagine there would be a rebate having booked so far in advance (1 year!)- we were actually more concerned that the would actually be a surcharge !

I know it's a different cruise line, but we've just had a rebate on the RCCL June cruise.
But I only found out about it when I asked about moving cabins. So you should enquire before you make final payment
