Can I book a family retreat cabana on the Eurodam in advance? Which one is the best side - port or starboard? Is the price the same as the other cabanas or is it more? Thanks.

If you want it for the entire cruise, yes, you can book it in advance. We had the port side and it was lovely.
But please note that while the cabana was a delightful place to hang out, the service was underwhelming. We did not receive the fruit, frozen grapes, strawberries or champagne most of the days and no Evian misters. The servers were never around and when they were, it took more than 45 minutes to get items from the pool bar, directly below the Retreat.

Family retreat was at least $100 more for the week than the regular size Retreats.

My understanding is that you can book a cabana on the Eurodam precruise on either the Lido or Retreat areas if you are booking it for the entire cruise. If you only want it for a day or a few days you must wait until you get on board.

Before you spend a lot of money on one of these cabanas, you might want to check out some of the reviews. Those that I have read have been less than impressive.
