I saw a great deal on a Queen Mary 2 December 20th (14) day cruise on the cruise2.com web site. They are advertising prices of a category C-4 outside at $1,849 a person. What first got my attention was their $125 a day claim. So I send then an e-mail asking for more info. Their response was substantially different:

Frank,
This is the current itinerary for this cruise.

Yuletide in the Caribbean
Queen Mary 2 • 14 Days

The early booking prices are
Standard inside $1,999 pp D-6
Atrium $3,489 D-1
Standard ocean view $3,249 C-4

Please let me know if I can get you more information. I can put a hold
on a cabin to insure the low fares.

Thank you,

Not exactly as advertised. Anyone ever used them? Sounds like a bait and switch deal to me.

Rewrote my response. Did not notice that the $1849 was for a C-4 outside. I would attach the advertisement you received and ask them about the discrepancy. If they give you an unacceptable response, just remember to avoid them in the future.

I think they have the inside and outside prices reversed.

Sorry - not allowed to discuss any particular travel agency on Cruise Critic.

it was obviously an error in the ad - they put $1,849 instead of $3,849 for the 8day.
the one below is $2,149 for 6days

I agree that there are a lot of errors in their ad. They have know about it for 3 days now and have made no changes.
