That's a great picture.
But I wasn't aware that the Eurodam went to Cruracao. When did this start?

I was wondering -- we spent 2 weeks on the Eurodam at the end of Nov and Dec and Curacao wasn't one of our stops.

As you are from Curacao, can you give any hints to those of us who will be visiting in the beginning of March? We'll be on the Zuiderdam leaving Fort Lauderdale on 2/27/2009. I was thinking of cruising with you on the Eurodam, but then a neighbor suggested the partial transit of the panama Canal and that was it.

They are fortunate that they could dock on the Sint Annabaai - so much more convenient than at the outer pier. Any Caribbean cruise that I will book in the future must include Curacao.

I just looked and not only is it getting dark but the Eurodam is gone! But thanks for the website Caribbeanboy, now I can dream of being in Curacao long before we get there.

This itinerary was very different as well as last weeks was also a bit different. They changed them just for the Holiday Season. This week was nice with having 3 Sea days. I would have loved to stay on one more week.

Curacao is one of my favorite islands. My last time there was around this same time last year on the Holiday cruise on the Volendam.
Very happy memories.
Yes, having the better dock in town is better than the outter dock,
which is walkable but not all that close.

We will soon be in Curacao -- again.
Unfortunately we will be there on a Sunday.
Curacao is a beautiful island -- and so colorful.
Just wish for once we would dock inside (haven't done that in years)-- hate the Mega pier.

Strange looking Eurodam with an X topside. Oh, that's the Galaxy backing out. Now she's gone.
Great webcam. Thx.

Curacao is our favorite destination. Lived there for 2 years and have been back twice by cruise ship- last year on the Westerdam.

Like others on this thread, Curacao is one of our favorite ports. We have been going there for years and had a resort vacation there at least 20 years ago. Every time we go, it is better and better.

Hi Caribbeanboy!
I had a couple of questions about Curacao. Could I contact you offline?

We were on the Westerdam on Jan 1. Docked under the bridge. Galaxy was in
front of us. New Years Day was not the best time to visit. Most attractions were
closed but the weather was great.

Mom & I were on board the Eurodam over the Holidays for both the 7 day Christmas and New Years cruises. Yes both weeks were a little different than the normal 7 day eastern caribbean sailings she has been doing. For Christmas we did Grand Turk, Tortola, St. Maarten and Half Moon Cay. Then we came back into Ft. Lauderdale and over 60 of us stayed on for another week to go back out for New Years. This 2nd week we went southern and went back to Half Moon Cay and then down to Aruba and Curacao. It was 1st time visits to both of these ports for the Eurodam as well as St. Maarten the week for Christmas. Prior to departure form Aruba we had 20 min worth of fireworks because of the 1st time visit and we didn't sail till 10pm. Then it was the short trip over to Curacao. The reason we were docked where we were was because RCI's Adventure of the Seas was docked at the Mega pier. Where we were docked actually made for a shorter walk to get across the floating pontoon bridge or take the water taxi across and when it came time for departure the bridge opened and we just backed out. No big deal. Hope this helps as we were on that sailing.
