Loved the pix. Looks like you all had a lovely holiday. Especially loved seeing Cody and Ludmilla since I just got off on the 18th.

Thanks for posting the pictures. We leave in a little more than a month, our first time with Regent. Looks like we should have a great time.

Great pictures! We did the same trip last March and we did a lot of the same things. I even recognized our guide from the Lamanai trip!

Nice pictures! Brought back memories of the same itinerary a little over a year ago. I see Lamanai, but what is the other Mayan site?

Thanks so much! I really enjoyed looking at the photos, and it looks as though your boys had a great time! What memories they will have to enjoy now they are back home. I also liked what I saw of the Navigator. I've never sailed on her but will be on board May 1 for the TA. I shall read your review with great interest.
Happy New Year and thanks again!:)

I really loved how the boys fit into the room! I wish we had done that when our boys were that age.

Thank you for sharing your lovely pictures!

Thank you, Iborne. Just spent a very pleasant hour looking at those pictures. Such wonderful memories for you all to look back on over the years. And have you got the phone number of that dishy model who keeps appearing in the shots?

What a great treat for us! We are cruising the Navigator W. Carrib. with our 4 1/2 year old daughter this year. Was great seeing your pictures and how much your boys were able to do on excursions ( I think your youngest is about 5). Plus interesting to see how the sofa bed (s) work.
This will be our 3rd time on Navigator - we keep trying for Voyager, but something always comes up and we end up on Navigator.
Thanks again.

Thank you for posting your pictures. The Navigator is looking good. It's nice that Regent provides facilities for children during school breaks and holidays. If they had been around when our children were younger, we would have given it a try (although we probably could not have afforded it):D

We'll be on the Navigator next month --since children will be back in school and there is no special program for them, we expect almost 100% adults (which could be bad or good). There is a current thread regarding children on the Navigator. Did you find that the "public areas" of the Navigator were a bit small for families? We found them to be small in general. We love the Navigator (our 2nd favorite ship) -- just wonder what Regent was thinking when they decided to reposition her to Alaska next year (2010).

Great photos. We board Navigator next Friday. Suites are the same as Voyager/Mariner which pleases my wife.
What did you do in Belize ?

Not on this particular cruise. First, there were only 388 people on board (approx 50 under 18). Second, participation of all daytime events, lectures, etc. seemed very low. Trivia, name that tune, and wine tasting got less than 50 people, if not fewer. The library, with very few seats, never seemed crowded. The only time we had to wait for a seat to open was the Christmas carroling held in the Galileo's lounge (IIRC), and probably because it was one of the few shows held before dinner.

As for putting the Navigator in Alaska, I don't know what the thinking was, but it is going to allow us to take our kids because they will be offering kids sail free programs and will fit 4 in the smaller cabins. We have just tried to book a cruise to Alaska this year, but the Mariner's smallest cabins will not hold 4.

We took the Lamani Ruins and New River tour offered through Regent. It was a bit disapointing. First, we thought the river tour would be slow and scenic. It was more like speed boat racing. Second, we spent 1 hr on a bus each way, and 1 hr on the speed boat each way, and about 1 hour at the ruins (not including lunch). So it was a long journey and we were rushed by the guide when at the site.
