What kind of dinner offerings are available from room service? Can you get regular dining room selections, or is it just a few limited items that are the same day after day?

Anything on the regular menu is available. And most times you can get items that are not on the menu.

I wouldn't want to order the Pinnacle menu from room service. First of all the setting and service in the room is all part of the ambiance of the meal. Also, food served through room service really is not as good as that served directly to your table- the time taken to transport it and the time it sits under a cover in your room, while you are eating other courses, does change the perfection of how it was meant to be cooked and eaten. Rare beef will continue cooking to some degree while it is sitting.

I'm sure the Pinnacle prefers to have their menu served directly in the restaurant so the food tastes as it should. Since you can make a reservation for whatever time you want to eat the convenience of room service delivery is not needed either. Enjoy.

As I recall the full dining room menu is available for room service, but only during the time the food for the dining room is being prepared and served. You can't order the steak at 3 in the afternoon. You can review the menu for the next meal (or maybe for the day; I don't recall) just outside the dining room.

Oh - and BTW - I LEAVE ON THE ZUIDERDAM TOMORROW!!!! :D :D :D

I sailed the Z last week and was noticing that they had just about everything on there as in the dining room and the porterhouse and sirloin as listed in the Pinnacle. I was impressed that you could get those items.
