Hi there,
Being a 1st time cruiser and therefore don't know if I'll suffer from seasickness or not, can anybody recommend "over the counter medicine" I can take with me, just in case.

Wullie :)

Hi Wullie,

My wife suffered quite badly on her first cruise a couple of years ago (had an injection on the cruise which cost about £60!! - expensive, but it was very effective), so has always taken "stuff" with her since.

I'll check with her tonight but I think it is "Kwells" and on the latest trip she took some wristbands with her. It was a fairly calm cruise (I hope it is for you!), so she wore the wristbands a couple of evenings when she felt a bit iffy and was fine.

Other people subscribe to taking ginger tablets.

Hi Wullie,

I was right, it is Kwells she has taken before but she was very happy with the travel sickness bands she used on this latest cruise. She bought them from the high street's leading chemist and apparently they were also in the general store onboard the ship.

Happy sailing, not long to go now is is......only 16 days!

This will be our first cruise but we have been on ferries to Ireland a few times. I swear by the travel sickness bands and I will be taking them with me just in case!!
