I will be leaving my house in four hours to drive to the airport to catch our morning flight.
Bags are packed and husband is still not sure what clothes I packed for him, he picked out his own wardrobe and I changed everything as usual.
My loving parents are here to spoil my boys for the week I am away, I will de-program them when I get home.
I am exhausted and excited as usual before a cruise.

I will think of you as I enjoy every minute of the Zaandam.

Thank you. Now I can go to bed and sleep the sleep of the remembered. Or something like that. Actually, I'm checking my "put aside money" to see what's added up since the last cruise -- little bits of found money, so to speak, that I didn't expect I'd have and ended up in the bank with a record kept in my "next cruise" drawer. More than I expected and more than I need for the cruise. But it does allow me to take a Shorex that I had not planned on. I'm also checking on the golf shirts I will wear (no, I don't golf) with my favorite insignias on them for day use. Next will be the shirts and mixable ties for evening wear. Then socks and undies. Travel docs, passport and bus tix are set.

Sounds like a great cruise :) We too are straying from HAL for a few cruises, one is a short ladies only cruise and the other is on the Caribbean Princess, we recieved an offer we couldnt refuse! 2 weeks for the price of 1! (Long story)
Please be sure to post your review and let me know so I can read it :) I want to hear it all!!! Well ok, not literaly hehehehe. Wow, good luck on the packing and not going over the limit! Have a great time! :)

Oh, that reminds me. You know how they take your picture via computer and link the picture to your Ship's ID card? Then as you board, when they swipe your ID card your picture pops up their screen so they can ID you.

Well, at HMC I walked off with Suzanne's card instead of mine. Upon re-boarding, they swiped the card and of course Suzanne's photo popped up. They must think I look a lot like Suzanne, because the guy waved me right through. I would have thought my white beard and mustache might have tipped them off. ;)
