My understanding is that MSC is remitting an OB credit to passengers on the winter sailings (we are going Feb. 14) because the price of fuel has dropped.
Does anybody know the amount of the credit to be awarded? Is it per paying passenger (assuming kids sail free won't get one).

The credit is simply a return of the fuel surcharge we originally paid. I don't recall exactly how much it is.

Funny how everyone paid a different amount for a fuel surcharge. Mine was $84 for 2.

Mine was $8 per person per day for the 1/24 cruise (which was going to be OBC from our agent even if MSC didn't refund the fuel surcharge).

$112

We booked the TravelZoo - Brennco special.

My sister cruises a lot and has received OBC's numerous times. She either applies it to her on board charges(which also would include any gratuities) or goes to casino gets cash off of her card and uses the cash to play slots or to book her own excursions. Just because its an on board credit doesn't mean you have to spend it on board.

Ours was $42 pp. So $84 was removed from our final payment the end of Dec. They did not place it as OBC.
