Welcome Back Greg, I bet it was sad getting off the ship this morning. I am sure you will give us a final report about your wonderful cruise. What I really want to know is how long after you have been on a 21 day cruise do you still feel the movement of the ship:p I have to admit you 3 weeks really went by fast. Hope you made it back home safely and everything was fine at home.

Glad you are back safe and sound and that you had such a great time.

I enjoyed the reports and photos you posted throughout your trip very much and am looking forward to your review.

Take your time and rest up. I just got back from 12 days in Las Vegas and California and I know how you feel right now :)

Take care

May I add my welcome back Revneal? I'm so glad that you are home safe and sound, and I hope that you don't come down with a cold after your excursion in Colombia. We are anxiously awaiting your final thoughts on the cruise and thank you for letting us be a part of your cruise each day.

:) Hi Rev Neal,
Glad you enjoyed your cruise on the Zaandam. My daughter Julie
(Shops Manager) was very pleased to meet you, she has followed your adventures for a while!!. I will be joining the ship with my husband on 26th of February for a one week cruise, and a few days in Orlando. I very much hope that Grand Caymen will be back on the itinerary by then, But if not we will just enjoy the ship.Thank you once again for being nice to Julie, and posting her picture on the boards.
Very best wishes,
Norma.:)

How many people kid her about being named Julie and working on a cruiseship ;)

Welcome home! It was wonderful taking this cruise with you through your posts and pictures. I'm looking forward to your videos, if you have a chance to share some of them with us. My, how quickly that time went!

Actually, I didn't have to preach this morning ... my associate preached for me. All I had to do was celebrate Holy Communion. It was a nice, quiet, restful day. I'm starting to recover. Over the next 3 or 4 days I intend to process through photos, select the ones I'm going to upload for "real" -- as in, for my perm ship's tour and cruise account -- so I hope to start being able to upload them by the end of the week.

Videos will take a little longer ... maybe by Thanksgiving I'll have some video to upload. I've gotta deal with the photos first. I've got about 3000 to sort through and choose only the very very very best from.

Yes, it went fast ... almost too fast. Looking back over some of the pictures I've been amazed at how the first part of the cruise really feels like it was a LONG time ago. I'd forgotten taken some of the photos. :)

To be totally honest, after we were through the Canal there was a sense in which the cruise was already over. It was the high-point of the cruise, and everything that followed in some sense felt anti-climactic. This doesn't mean that I didn't enjoy those days ... I did ... but after the nightmare in Cartagena I sat back and rested. I didn't get off the ship until Half Moon Cay ... and there we PLAYED. :) We did more at HMC this trip than we've ever done there before ... even despite feeling horrible over the damage done by the hurricane, we had a great time.

Sky Pilot:
Allow me to add my 'welcome home' to the many others here. Your extremely generous postings during your cruise diminished our missing your presence and added significantly to our knowledge. Your contributions are legion. Additionally you provided several ideas for my (our) upcoming first cruise.
Cheers
