I noted on another thread you are in Catagory E on the Volendam on 11/6, I think it was... we are in that catagory 3/20/05 on the Volendam and I will be very interested to know how it compares to the same catagory on the S-class ships... Would you mind making special note of the cabin and letting me know?

We are so excited to sail on the Volendam - the cost of upgrading to a Suite (we will have the two kids with us) was prohibitive, so we went with E instead.

We are on Main Deck - Cabin 2686... need the quad, so selection is limited. :)

I don't think the price will drop far enough for me to be able to consider the S... :(

ekerr - will be glad to post a note once we get back.. we are in 1874 and 1878 on the Main Deck. We travel w/ good friends and we usually try to get connecting cabins. Somehow seems more spacious when we are just hanging out having a drink or two when the connecting door is open.

We were on Zaandam in Jan of this yr which is Volendam's sister ship and we also had E's. Size-wise they are very much the same as our outside on S class (Veendam) was. Seems like we had a D that time. At any rate, will be in touch once we get back.

I appreciate all the info I can get about the Volendam.. I alsio heard the Cruise Director from the Zuiderdam, Dottie, is now on the Volendam and would be curious to know if it's correct.
