Are formal gowns, suits or tux necessary for dinning on the Paul Gauguin?

I have a recommended "packing List" I can send you if interested.
Just send me your email and I will send it to you.
Just make sure you write "packing list" on subject so I know what it is about.

I agree with Jim and he does have a great packing list! No need for the formal attire. Save your extra suitcase space for the little goodies you'll purchase on your trip.

Absolutely not. I saw a long gown once on board, in 2000. Elegant casual is the name of the game--khaki pants and nice shorts for the man, nice pants, long skirt with nice tops, or summery dresses for the ladies. Cocktail dresses certainly aren't out of place if you like, but aren't required. Ditto sports jackets.

Great advice... We will leave the formals at home. Thanks much

If anyone else is interested please feel free to do so.

It is not a problem to send it.

We never saw any dressy outfits on the PG, again in 2000. Very tropical attire. I can't remember if I saw men in jackets. Possibly.
