There's all this talk of another ship taking the place of the Regal Empress. Has anyone heard anything? We're booked for february 23rd & 24th and have not heard a thing. We even called and left messages to find out and no one is calling back. Big secret I guess.

Seems that IM is being cagey on the status of the new ship. We know the ship exists, we know it's in Freeport. I have not been able to find any reports on the work they are doing, or even reports on if anything is being done on the ship at all. Basically the agents seem to know a new ship is coming and that's about it. When the RE arrived and replaced the Ocean Breeze it was fairly unceremonious change, so I guess this is not out of character.
You would think IM would be milking this for all it's worth on both ends: "Come on one of farewell voyages on the Regal Empress, one of the last liners sailing" and all kinds of hype around the new ship. Oh well, what I know about marketing.
