:D About to finalize deposit for our third cruise to Alaska! Some of us just can't get enough!
 So many things running through my head... need sound advice from those less distracted by my overcompulsiveness in planning perfect family trip!

Booking Ryndam: Suites 02, 04, 06. Is the left side the CORRECT side for a Seward-Vancouver (Southbound) voyage?
(Yes I know it will be right by Navigation, but we need three side by sides, near elevators for WC).

If given a choice, should I request specific Land hotels in Denali, Fairbanks, & Anchorage. This is our first time not on round trip inside passage.

Any table for 8 area recommendations, this was the first time I have ever been specifically asked where we wanted to sit.

Hoping to book our own air and add on a few days before and after on our own... recommendations in Anchorage & Vancouver would also be appreciated!

Thanks in Advance!

I will try to answer you questions:
Left side (Port) is the best IMO for this trip. ALthough I do not think it makes alot of difference. Even number Suites.
Hotels - when we did our 14 day we were not given a choice of hotels. HAL owns a number of them and books accordingly. It did seem that those on the longer tours got the better hotels though.
The best parts of doing a Southbound is that you get the grueling land tour done and then can relax on the ship on your way home, you meet people on your land tour that you will see on the ship, and the flight home is ALOT shorter.
