We have been trying for the AZ Miami-Miami cruise on Mar 8,but they are sold out of verandah rooms. Does anyone know how to get wait-listed for one without having to plunk down a ton of money for a room you don't want or can't afford? Thanks for suggestions. Even our TA can't get one. Don't people cancel even late in the game? ddcruiser

Hi DDcruiser !
You should be able to waitlist, but its nearly worthless as you can only waitlist ONE specific cabin # per booking. It's not a great system. I do not believe there is a way to waitlist all balconies on your booking. Perhaps one of our TA friends can confirm this.
As for cabins opening up, it can happen, but its not very likely, as everyone on your sailing has made final payment by now. The only way a cabin will open, is if someone has to cancel.
My recommendation is, keep checking Azamara's website as much as possible, advise your TA to do the same. If you see a cabin become available, call your TA immediately.
I hope this helps a bit. Good luck !

People do cancel all the time for various reasons..a travel agent that specializes in Azamara would be a big help..they would know who to talk to.

Not sure if you are already booked or not - but if you are then you just get your TA to waitlist you for the grade you want - 1A or 2A etc. If you are not booked then you get your TA to option a grade and if a room comes free they will get an email letting them know. No money changes hands! It is very easy to do.
