Tell me about the childrens area. Is there a place like a waterpark. Someone told me that there was a waterslide and/or a water trampoline. Is this true? Is there a cost for the kids to go there?

It's not there yet but probably in the next year they will have it up and running. There was some damage to the island, so no doubt they are behind in installing these amenities.

I thought the new water park area was supposed to be ready for December cruises just like the other new features?


amyfromjersey: No one outside of the people building it have actually seen the water park yet.

The kids section is just a playground, basketball court and vollyball court right now, they are adding a waterpark type section that was due to be open in Dec. We havent heard if this deadline has been changed or not. Hope this helps :)

When we were just at HMC on Zuiderdam, we could see the waterpark under construction. The crew of men were very busy at work and we heard it is supposed to be operating by Mr. Kruse's December 3 Westerdam cruise.
