Last year we cruised on the Maasdam and they had laundry deals like all you could fit in a bag for $12 or unlimited service for $40. This year we will be on the Zuiderdam, so I am wondering if we can look forward to any laundry deals on this ship.
Hope to hear from experienced Zuiderdam cruisers.... I may need the laundry service after trying to sneak a bottle on in my suitcase!
Thanks! ~ Splish

Most of HAL ships have these laundry deals, but it is up to the individual ship to decide. Check at the front desk the first day, they will tell you which deals they are going to have.....jean

So, am I understanding correctly that for $40 ish for a 7-day one can get unlimited laundy and pressing with a 2 day turnaround time? I'm assuming that excludes dry cleaning. Would it include, for example, touching up the press on a a pair of slacks? It sounds tempting, we're approaching our first HAL cruise, and not having an iron available real bugs me.
Thanks guys,
CJ

The laundry by the bag was $15 and we had to ask for it. It was not apparent from the price sheet in our room. The laundry came back just as it would if you priced by each item, on hangars or folded in the basket. Ours was a 12 day cruise so I think the unlimited price was around $90.

Two ladies need to know before they start packing!
Cruise is a mere 7 days, BUT we have 2 days of travel
before we get to our flight: Toronto - FLL.
Is there a laundry service on Oosterdam?

$45.00 for unlimited laundry, additional 35.00 for unlimited pressing. You can order them together or seperately.
If you just need touch ups, you can send that individually, at the per item price.

For our 18 day cruise the unlimited laundry was $120 per cabin. Our clothes came back however we requested them - folded, on hangers, starched etc.
Other options were:
Pay per item
Pay for pressing package only
$12 per bag - items were to come back folded. (However, heard that sometimes the laundry hung and pressed items - front desk said that the laundry just did extra and the $12 is for laundry and folded only)
