In my continuing quest to spend my children's inheritance, I've just booked another Holland America cruise! :D Actually, this will be an inexpensive trip (relatively.) It's all on the left coast, so will be easy for us. We just thought a little Spring getaway might be nice, so I've booked a 4-day coastal on the Zaandam sailing May 10th LA to Vancouver. We've not been on this ship yet, and I believe it will have SOE enhancements by then. The ship is almost sold out. We got the last S cabin. I've posted on the roll call forum to see if any other CCers are going.

Jim, Congratulations. That sounds like a nice quick Get Away:p Plus a good way to check out the Zaandam. Should be nice weather most of the trip maybe a little cool when you get to Vancouver. Are you going to spend any time touring Vancouver?
Also when can the Las Vegas HAL CC Board get together to see the Hannah's pictures? Name the time and place.

Are you stopping in Seattle? If so, look up and to the left, and you'll see my old office.

I found it by looking under "destinations - coastals" on the HAL website. And apparently just in the nick of time. I hadn't connected it with Mothers' Day, which is the Sunday before. Cool.
I'm working to pare down the pictures of our Med trip. I'm just about finished with my DVD, so we can gather most any time. Probably should do it early November sometime. If everyone's good with going to Memphis BBQ again, that would be fine with me.

Jim Memphis BBQ is always fine with us, it is one of Tom's favorites. We are leaving on our cruise November 13th so anytime before that. Except for maybe Friday night Nov.12th:eek: We are pretty much open any night. Can't think of any night that is booked between now and then. Oh except next Thursday evening I do have plans.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I know how you feel!! I just booked another for next Sept. and could quite possibly do one around the end of January depending on how bad (or good) the winter in Ohio is this year! Nancy:)

Jim made me do it!!!!
Just booked a guarantee balcony (all that was left) for the Veendam left coast cruise for DH and I! What a nice little cruise and get away and is almost cheaper than driving to those places from here! But I blame Jim totally for my decision!!:D

Jim: Memphis BBQ sounds fine! Tues, Weds & Thurs next week is good as is Monday-Weds of the first week in Nov. Also good for Monday, Weds or Thursday of the 2n week in Nov, before Lisa and Tom sail away to Mexico.
Localady: Congratulations on the coastal cruise, too! We would join you all but we are already booked on May 7 Oosterdam sailing out of Seattle. Does this mean you will be receiving your copper medallions on the Rotterdam?

Bill S-
If my math is correct, I will still get my 100 day medallion on the Prinsendam cruise, I will now have 94 days going into the Prinsendam cruise. It will be fun to all get our medallions together! :)

Jim made me do it!!!! ... I blame Jim totally for my decision!!:D  So, did you tell HAL where to send my commission?
Good for you! Nothing like a coastal to break up the monotony of waiting for the next "real" cruise.

All of the above sound good to us just pick the day. Except this coming Thursday. 6 or 6:30 works for us too.
