Anyone that has taken this ship to Alaska have any cabin suggestions? Must be a balcony or possibly even a small suite. Thanks for sharing.

Hi - We had cabin 1554 on the radiance to Alaska in September and would do it again. Extra big balconey. Try any of the cabins on the bump and you'll be pleased. Ours was right across from the concierge club which was most handy. To access the concierge club you must be in a grand suite or higher but it was well worth it. Hope this helps.

We had 1100, which is a junior suite on the aft. It's a fabulous room. It is identical to the other JS's on the ship (twin or queen configuration, sofa bed, walk-in closet, tub in bathroom), except for the balcony, which is huge. The JS on the side of the ship only have 2 chairs & a table - this one had 2 loungers as well. Even in Alaska, I took a blanket out there & enjoyed the sun & the view. I think 1604 is also an aft JS, with a slightly smaller balcony.

If you don't want to pay the difference, try for one of the aft D-1s. Also larger balconies with loungers, and very nice rooms, from what we saw as we peeked in (discreetly, of course!)

We didn't have a suite but did have a balcony. We had 7604 on the hump. We loved it! It was in the perfect location for the dining room, Seattle's Best Coffee, the Schooner bar, etc. You name it, it was right there :) .
