There is a HAL ship in the Gatun Locks right now. I don't know what ship it is. Penny

My guess is that it's the Statendam. I think that's the only HAL ship in the area right now.

Wish HAL would put it's bridgecams on the Internet. One of the few major lines that doesn't do that and they have the picture on closed circuit so it's available.

Veendam transited the Canal today. I was e-mailing with someone aboard the ship. They had a gorgeous day for everyone to really enjoy the views. I always feel bad if I put on a cam of the Canal and see it raining. It wrecks it, IMO, for the pax to enjoy the fullest.
