I regularly prowl the HAL site to see if our booked cruises have come down in price. Early this week I was able to move our planned Alaska CruiseTour from May to September and save over 50% on our S suite! Same CruiseTour, just a different date. Good that DH & I are able to be flexible...
There are also unexpectedly low rates for some summer dates.
It was well worth the hassle and cost of changing our airfare and associated hotel, etc.

Yes, it's pretty much a buyers' market right now. If you're flexible (and this includes chancing less-than-ideal weather at an earlier or later sailing time) then some real bargains can be had. I'd say a 50% savings is remarkable!

The prices in Sept. have been lower since I booked mine last July for the 2nd week of Sept. They haven't lowered yet. I looked at May-June but too $$$. We cruised last year the end of June and it was double what I'm paying for Sept. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me. Now how do we get time to move faster.:D

Be happy with the great deals, but lets not whine when they cut back on something.
After all they are not a non-profit organization.
I paid a lot more for my 1st cruise on HAL in 1991 than recently. 2 complimentary bottles of wine & flowers in our cabin. One from my TA & one from HAL back then.
