hi all;

just a quick question:

has the oosterdam been refitted like the zuiderdam and westerdam, or do they still have the amazing aft balconies - corner suites ....

any info or recent pictures would be great

The Oosterdam is heading through the Panama Canal now on her way to Fort Lauderdale where she'll make the crossing to Italy for a 25-day dry dock and refit. Most of aft balconies will be changing.

On the Yummers cruise a week ago we partied on that huge corner aft veranda deck many times thanks to Ruth and Jim. :D :D
We all raised a glass and had a moment of silence for that fabulous aft decks' demise....... :(

Here is a photo of the Oosterdam's aft taken last week while anchored in Cabo San Lucas.

This is the view of San Diego at sunset from an aft corner cabin on the Oosterdam last week.

Finally, this photo was taken from the aft corner cabin looking forward along the starboard side. It is sunset in Puerto Vallarta harbor with the Sapphire Princess leaving port just ahead of the Oosterdam.

As others have mentioned, it will be a shame to lose those wonderful aft/corner cabins after the refit.

Hi Terry:
Is that a Road King Classic that you ride? That is my ride ride too. Another reason to meet up on a cruise some time in the future.

Yes, a year ago I managed to get one of the largest VA cabins on the stern.

Looking down on them from Lido deck.

Jim,

Not to hijack this thread, but yes, it is a 2001 Road King Classic with Ghost Flames.
