RCCL cruise to St. Kitts, Barts,Lucia, etc help

We are going on RCCL on Dec. 6 for 11 days to St. B, ST. K, St. Lucia,Barbados, Grenada, Margarita Island, Curacao and Aruba. We know nothing about these places nor where to go or what to do.:rolleyes:

I just read a thread that said to take RCCL Fan-Ta-Sea excusion on St. Kitts and will do. But, are there any GOOD private companies you can take excursions from on any of these islands. I also try to book privately as the ship ones are soooo expensive. Have also always had great trips which I owe to everyone on these threads as it is your advice that steers me in the right direction.

Any help would certainly be appreciated.:D

For Barbados, I would HIGHLY recomend taking a cab to the beach and lunch at the Crane Hotel for the day. It is one of the prettiest, scenic beaches I have ever seen. There are chairs and umbrellas available to rent. You can eat your lunch either at the hotel restaurant and enjoy the view or ask them to make your lunch "to go" and bring it to your chair.

In St.Lucia, I would go to Anse Chastenet to snorkel or enjoy their black sand beach and incredible view of the Pitons.I'd go by catamaran if possible. OR See if anyone from your cruise has chartered Captain Fred for the day.. and go to the Pitons with him.

We did both excurisons last year and LOVED it :)

We just tonight got back from cruising in St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Barbados, St. Kitts, St. Marteen. Here is what we did on each:

St. Thomas: Coral world was really nice and then the shopping
St. Marteen: We visited the French side - not much over there and then the Dutch side. There are very nice beaches there.
St. Lucia: Nine of us from the ship hired a private boat for the day. It was heavenly and we saw the pitons, Marigot Bay, Bat caves, and snorkled. We really had a great time. We hired the boat through Sunlink tours. If you want the email, let me know.
Barbados: I dived on a great wreck (greek merchant vessel) and a very nice reef.
St. Kitts: We went on the train ride from hell.....it was a very scarey ride and I will post all about it tomorrow.

My husband and I will also be on the Empress Dec 6, still trying to decide on what shore excursions to choose. Maybe we can share some activities and book together. let me know
