Any one know when Holland America will have the new excursions on the web site? and is the BBQ free and what kind of food?

That's a good question! I don't think anyone knows when they will have all the new amenities in place.

Yes, the food is FREE. Last time we were there they had BBQ chicken, ribs, hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, baked beans, salads, fruit, cake/cookies/squares. I am sure I read somewhere that they had added other foods, so no doubt someone who has been there recently can add to the list.

I will be at HMC this coming week, and will try to remember to see what they are doing on the new excursions.
As far as food, all food is free and brought over from your ship. Haagen Daz ice cream and bar drinks can be charged to your account.

Just thinking about this beautiful place makes me wish we were going to be there sooner than January.

All of the improvements were supposed to be completed by the date of Westerdams' three day cruise to HMC with Mr. Kruse. That cruise is December 3 and I haven't heard any announcements saying that plan is no longer expected.

Maybe they (HAL) will post the HMC excursions once the three day December cruise has been finalized.
