Can anyone tell me how early prior to cruise date, does HAL accept on line purchase/reservations for shore excursions? There are two excursions that have limited capacity and we would really like to participate.

As long as they're on the website for booking, you can book your shore excursions as soon as you've made your deposit and have your booking number.
Problem is that frequently they aren't on the website, or at least not all of them are posted, too far out.

On our last cruise we were able to make reservations online about 10 months out. Thats when they became available for booking. I understand you wanting to get a jump, there was one we wanted like that and we got our reservation and it was fully booked about 2 weeks after we made our reservations. :eek: On those with limited seats you do want to get on it. I would suggest just keep checking HAL's website, theres no real way to tell when they will open for bookings and you want to be ready. ;)
