Cabin Assignment Time

It's 10 days of waiting until our Westerdam cruise. I keep checking to see if our cabin assignment is posted. It still lists "GUAR" on the website. Is there a particular time of day assignments are usually posted by? Knowing that would keep me from checking three times a day.

Knowing that would keep me from checking three times a day.It seems to me that most of ours (seven) have showed up late in the afternoon or early evening (Eastern) ... and that's when I've been checking 3 times a day too! And BTW, they will show up on a Sat or Sun too. :)

My experience has been the same-late in the day. We did not get our last assignment until about 7 pm the night before the cruise. And, we got a wonderful cabin.

Sounds like good things come to those who wait!!!! The longest I've waited was having it assigned at the pier, and it wasn't very nice upgrade. In fact ,at the time, I thought that we'd been forgotten about and that was the only cabin left on the ship.

I'm scheduled to cruise to Alaska on the Westerdam in May and noticed last week that a cabin has been assigned. I reserved a VH GTD.

I was suprised since I haven't even made final payment yet.

TazzMannAt 86 days out, that's extremely unusual!! Did you get an upgrade?

We haven't received our assignment yet for the Eurodam on April 4th.

Well, posting here this morning must have awakened the assignment folks at HAL. Our cabin assignment is in. We booked a VH guarantee. We're getting a VE. I figured we would probably be in a VF or VE--but we would not have minded the steel railing of one of the four VH cabins.

Late afternoon Eastern time! :D The VE will be better because it's more midships - less walking on average! :) Congrats!
