Reminder to those sailing out on Sunday, Oct. 31: Daylight Savings Time ends and Standard Time begins. Change clocks back 1 hour before bed time on Saturday. :)

Thanks for the tip, but I knew that. In fact I booked my Oct. 30 cruise specifically because I get an extra hour.:D

But NOT if you're in Arizona, where we get enough daylight that we don't have to save it. Here, instead of twice-a-year confusion, we have a daily challenge to remember whether we're in tune with the left coast or that other time zone that is never mentioned by the TV networks when announcing showtimes.

This is a yuck-yeah. I like coming home when it's still light....unfortunately still have to work to support my cruising....so it's yuck. The yeah is because it means the months are passing by and we're getting closer and closer to our next cruise! :)

Here in Australia (most States) we are putting ours forward one hour this weekend as daylight saving begins. Unfortunately in the state we live in (Queensland) we don't have it. Voted out by the farmers in a referendum. You have to be careful when booking airline flights etc that you make the allowance.

I think rather than try and figure out how to change my car clock on this car I am now driving, I will just keep the clock where it is so I will go from Central Daylight Time to Eastern Standard Time. That way, I will not be late.
My bedroom alarm clock is the geatest of all. It will automatically go ahead at 2:00 AM tomorrow morning. The good news is that in 22 weeks we go back to Daylight savings time.

Himself, we have one of those clocks that change automatically too, I think we got it at Brookstone.Last spring whne it went into Daylight Savings time, I woke up just to watch what it would do. Not sure I will wake this year to see it go in reverse. Came home from work and DH had all the clocks already changed so we are all set.

I got mine at Brookstone two and a half years ago and it works like a charm.

you could just drive the car into the correct time zone and sell it ......

I owe to much on it. It is a Chrysler Concorde that I purchased last June.
56 more payments and it will be mine. If I drive East through Lake and Porter Counties in Indiana, I will be in the Eastern Time Zone.
