Thinking of travelling on Holland America around the med in May 09 and we are a couple in our mid 30s what is the age group that travel with this liner.

I'm going to give the OP the benefit of the doubt and assume that it is because she didn't realize that her original thread had been moved to the HAL board by Host Kat yesterday afternoon and hadn't seen those replies.

My wife and I just got off of the Veendam on Sunday and I would say the average age on our boat was somewhere around 65-70. As a 38 and 40 year old, we felt very young and found the cruise to be catered toward a much older crowd. Don't get me wrong, we had fun- I just don't think Holland is our type of line. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, our friends that we went with won a free cruise playing bingo on the ship and we will now be on the Eurodam next March.
Put it this way, we had the dance floor to ourselves more times than not on evenings in the Crow's Nest. We talked to a group of girls on college spring break and they were very disappointed after booking the cruise without looking into it. There were 0 boys for them to even look at.
