:)Hi Everyone:
Happy St. Paddy's Day! While DH and I were on our last cruise our wonderful Wine Steward gave us the cutest gift "Bistro in a Box." He ingeniously makes them from coasters, corks, drink stirrers, champagne corks and their wire cages, with individual place settings and all.

I just got around to taking the pics (attached) so enjoy.

Looking forward to the next HAL cruise in November 09'...
Happy Cruising!

There are adorable.

Last year on the Westerdam we got just the table (with umbrella) and 2 chairs.

Happy Cruising!

WOW - what a neat gift. I can't imagine how many hours he must have spent creating this little masterpiece. That is something I would definitely be bringing home with me - lucky you. I hope you tipped him well:D.

Thanks so much for posting the photos .I have read about these on the board before and wasn't quite sure what they were talking about. Now I see what a delightful surprise it would be to receive one.
What a lovely little treasure to have from your cruise. :)
Thanks again for sharing.

Hi Carol - 11/23 - when are you going?

KK - that's cool - do you have any pics of yours? These wonderful guys are so talented - I think many wine or champagne or etc. enthusiasts would love these little Bistro’s. I wonder if HAL knows they make them and would be interested in selling them in the gift shop – or maybe someone knows of someone in the wine biz that would be interested. The HAL talented staff work so hard and are so clever – would love to see success happen for them! Just a thought.

Hi Valerie – yes it is and yes of course!

Happy Crusing all...:)

Happy Cruising!

By any chance was that Edwin from the Noordam who made those. I have two similar things, but they aren't quite as elaborate.
Edwin did an AMAZING job.

He's one of the reasons we like HAL>

Hi Gentleman Cruiser:
Well it was the Noordam but our wonderful Wine Steward was Louie - such a great guy! When were you on the Noordam?
