Anyone who has recently traveled on the ms Westerdam can help with this question.

How was the new laundry service?

Were you happy with the turn around time?
Cost, either by the bag or special cruise pricing?

Any problems?

We did the $15 per bag service. Turn around time was a day and a half, we called in for a pickup around 8am, and it was returned to us the next day afternoon.
Most of the stuff came back folded, and shirts were hanging on hangers. One annoying thing was that every piece of clothes has a small yellow sticker on it. Probably used to track who's clothes it belongs to... it seems to be pretty well stuck on there, and really hard to pull those off. It pulled off a few threads off my boxers.
Overall, it wasn't too bad, we rolled all of the clothes, and was able to put quite a bit into the small bag.

One of our table mates was in a suite, and she had complimentary laundry service. She said that all of her clothes came back "gift wrapped" in a wicker backet. She made a point to say that each of her undies were individually wrapped.

We would love to have our undies folded and gift wrapped.:p

Does that mean we should buy new undies?

George,

You get free laundry, dry cleaning and pressing in an S and PS.
We were on the Westerdam in May and the laundry service was very efficient - we got all our clothes back.

Last October, on the Oosterdam, there were a lot of complaints of people not getting their clothing back or getting the wrong clothing. One day we got someone else's laundry - didn't like their style in clothing so returned it,
