ms Westerdam Oversold for November 12th

Just had a very early morning call from our TA. Once again, HAL is offering us an upgrade for our suite. This is the second try by HAL to get us to either cancel our cruise or sell back the room.:mad:

Here is the catch. They want us to move up to either an SS Suite or an S suite.:p

At this time they want us to move, but do not want to guarantee an upgrade suite number. Also, they want us to pay them something for the upgrade. Seems they have really gotten in a fix about double selling our suite. :o

We are holding our ground for some negotiation flexibility for them to pay us for the SS-Category or free upgrade to the S-Category. ;)

I think you are right to stick to your guns. Overselling the ship is their problem, and you should not have to pay for the upgrade because they want the stateroom you already paid for. Let us know how this works out for you.
