Back from Z 1016 sailing, great time. We really enjoyed meeting everyone at the sailaway, what a smart idea! Here are some comments, instead of doing a full review.
Food:
Dutch night – pork chop was great!
Chicken with peaches was a disappointment
Steaks – good, Fish entrees sometimes tough, Meatloaf and Fish and Chips??
Loved the hand sanitizer machines in the Lido area, how convenient!
No one to help find table/carry trays in the Lido. Someone else posted that it made you feel like a grade schooler wandering the cafeteria. Yes, it did!
Rm Service – chef salad, thai wrap just average, nothing bad about them, but nothing to rave about either. The service was very timely, 20 minutes or so each time
Drink of Day wonderful idea, just $3.95 the grapefruit cosmo was awesome
Honky Dory what can I say, the guy is just a gem!
Boarding:
Upon boarding , nice touch to offer to store your carry ons!
Arrived 11:15, on ship by 11:45.There were 2 lines inside the pier building, one says internet which was super long line, we got in other line, which had virtually no one in it. So, take note of which line is shorter. It's hard to tell that there are actually two lines.
Cabin:
Cabin size larger than Celebrity Century inside cabin., large L shaped couch
Cabin Steward did not introduce himself, and could not understand simple requests, but the place was spectacularly clean, he even folded the dirty clothes we left on the bed!
1063 no noise, great location midship
Shows:
Costumes and stage set ups better than expected! Wished we could have seen the "american idol" knock off show but we had 8:30 seating and it was at 9:30pm!
All in all, a great time!
