The Oosterdam has arrived across the pond. We are so use to seeing her on the West either San Diego or Seattle for Alaska but the first time in many years she is not on the other side of the Atlantic.

There are many web cams to see her at, she will be there till 11 PM Madeira time.

First here is the web cam shot from web cam 3

Then we can see her from the Web Cam of a couple of ships. Here she is from the Costa Serena Bow Cam

I bet everyone was ready to stretch their legs on land today. These will be some of the last photos of the Oosterdam the way she was originally built. Just a few more weeks before they tare her end off.

Thanks for the photo’s Lisa. Just a little more excitement she is in Europe this year and will be on her in 5 more months.:D

Thanks,
John

John, Yes that is why I am grabbing photos of the Oosterdam.... soon this great aft will be just a fond memory :o Some how I am sure the designer of the Vista Class when he first put his pencil to the paper never dreamed they would tear up what he originally dreamed.

I definitely do not begrudge HAL finding a way to produce more revenue and add more cabins which may or may not produce that for them, given the cost of reconstruction only the Bean Counters know that for sure. It's just a bit sad seeing the last one get changed.:o
