Disco Music

I'm not sure how late DH can stay awake, but if I can keep him up, I'd like to go dancing! What era of music is played in the disco at night?

I'm hoping for some funk or real disco -yes, I'm a product of the 70's. Anything but rap. I can't figure out how to dance to it!

What can we expect on the Oosterdam?

I just got back from the Zuiderdam, and I can tell you that they played a decent variety of songs at the disco, not always the songs I would've picked but I think they were pleasing to most. They played some disco songs, some from the 80's, salsa, current hits(Usher, Beyonce...), old school rap (like Rapper's Delight), etc.

I don't think anyone's request to hear a certain song was denied, which wasn't so great when a large group would constantly request songs and kind of take over the music selection for the night.

I appreciate your reply. DH may not be willing to go now, as I know all the words to "Rappers Delight." The long version! :D And would be willing to perform.:D Oops, that's karaoke.

I guess we'll just have to out-request the other requesters.
