Sail is currently on the Eurodam. She is doing a B2B and this is her 2nd week :) She will be back on line I am sure by Monday. Although I have to admit I thought she was going to check in using her new notebook computer :D

I thought she must be on the Eurodam - I remember she said they were going in March, and she hasn't been around a while. 1 + 1 = 2!

Thanks for the replies!
1 + 1 = 2!
If I tried that kind of advanced mathematics without a calculator, I have no idea what answer I'd get :D

John yes every once in a while she would post. But usually at least once:) She had told me as long as she could connect to the WiFi in her cabin she would post. I told her no problem every where on the Eurodam had a signal. I had no problems in either cabin I was in for our 2 weeks.
I am guessing that John is right she is having a good time :) Hopefully it is there is not a problem with her laptop :o I had an email last week from the GRM on board and she said that Sail was definitely on board.;)

Before she left, she said she'd be using that little acer to check her email. Nothing about posting live, although I did think she'd want to let us know it was working.

I'm heeeeeere.............
Thanks for looking for me, Cow Princess.
Yes, DH and I are on our second week aboard Eurodam and having a wonderful time.
This is a beautiful ship with a great crew and we're loving our time aboard ...... And, Copper...... Enough with the bathrobe routine! :D We are two giant steps from Neptune and DH certainly still goes in to get our morning coffee but hasn't left the cabin in a robe once. ;) That is not to say that a number of other robes have not made their way through that doorway. ;)
I started to make a post last week and satellite went down just at the moment I clicked 'post reply' and I never came back to try again. It was something or other about the sun at a certain time of the morning.
While I am at it, I must comment the Internet Manager aboard is fantastic. She has helped me a number of times with pesty questions. I truly appreciate her help.
As to computers.......... my Acer is a Champ~! Works magnificently here on the ship. A delight to travel with. Faster than my Sony Vaio and easy to type on. I am writing this live and am not proof reading. Don't blame the computer........blame the typist for all errors. This is terrific little netbook and I'm so glad I bought it and brought it with us. It will get loads of use.
We are across from Neptune Lounge with excellent connection. If I leave our cabin door open, I get very good connection.
Various miscellaneous and unrelated bits and pieces:
Our first week aboard was absolutely perfect weather the entire week. Turnaround in FLL was party cloudy and nice but Sunday at sea and Monday weather went downhill. We had to miss Grand Turk our second week as seas were too rough and strong winds blowing 90 degrees across the ship which Captain Jeroen van Doneslaar said was the worst possible. We had a very rough day at sea. Yesterday in San Juan was again beautiful as is today in St. Thomas.
Nice barbeque on deck last night and party for sailaway. It was so lovely to out and around on deck on such a pretty Caribbean night. DH and I went to pool at aft on Lido and I had the first mojito I've ever ordered. Bong made it for me and it won't be my last.
Better be careful or I might actually move onward and upward to wang wangs........seriously doubt that will happen. :)
We love this ship. She's beautiful, comfortable, wonderful crew, lots of interesting spots, excellent food...... of course it is good, Chef Robert Shumann is aboard. He arrived with us on March 14. Lido is as good as we have ever had on any ship. The choices are endless and everything is so good. Groan......... we've indulged far too much.
When we get home, I'll post tons about various spots, things, impressions but for now.........
Just wanted to say Hi.
We had to the chance to see Maasdam and Noordam both and certainly that made us very happy.
By for now..........

Thanks for checking in. I've been wondering how you liked the Eurodam. Glad your acer is meeting your needs. I'm surfing/typing on one right now, out on the patio enjoying the rain! They are wonderful little computers!

OH!!!! S7S, I was on the Euro with you last week and really meant to try to meet you! We were in 7047, also just a couple steps from the Neptune. Quick access to that capuccino machine is important to me, and I also never ventured out in my bathrobe.
(Although it seems my teens did one night! But that's another story, and I'm just learning about their adventures through photos posted on Facebook by other teens we sailed with. :D)
The weather last week was glorious, so I'm really glad you already experienced that before the weather got rough.
And the mojitos? Please visit Edwin in the Ocean Bar. He made the BEST mojitos for me all last week- his really were better than anywhere else I found on board. He became my very favorite bartender. And he'll entertain you with origami creations. :)
(It seems he befriended my teens, too, judging by the photos of them toasting him with Red Bull that I also found on Facebook. :D)

Good to hear he's finally abiding by "da code'';)
Btw, just read that Bong "James Bong" is on board - that must mean his wife, a bar waitress or possibly a wine steward by now, is also on Eurodam

Sail- We too were on the ship with you last week. I thought sure I would run across you somewhere to introduce myself. Maybe next time. It was a week with perfect weather, as you said, sorry this week suffered a little. If as the previous poster suggested, you run across Edwin, pls. give greetings from Tom and Peter as well:D Enjoy your last few days aboard, as you said it is a beautiful ship.

Texkat and Tompeter........... VERY sorry we didn't meet up. I would have enjoyed.
Lisa....... Happy to hear Geri let you know we are here. :)
Our Turn.... Tamarind is excellent and we very much enjoyed it. We may return tomorrow night for another luscious dinner there.
Yes, Copper. Bong is, indeed, aboard as is Rebecca. They are as very special as always. Bong made my mojito for me and Rebecca took care of us one night in Pinnacle.
You mention Edwin and it is Funny how Ocean Bar is ALWAYS our favorite bar but not this cruise. We went there first day of each cruise but did not return. We are very much enjoying Silk Den and Explorer's Lounge. First ship that Explorer's has a bar in it and we love it (ands the bartenders there. :) ) Pancho in Silk Den is terrific and we have enjoyed the ladies from Tammarind and Silk Den. Yvette is here and it had been years since we last sailed together. We are also enjoying Pinnacle Lounge....not just nights we dine in Pinnacle. I like that it isn't really large.
Tonight is cocktail party and we're looking forward to it.
Tomorrow is Mariner's Brunch but first we go to Queen's Lounge where they present medallions to those achieving next level and acknowledge those of us with medallions. VERY nice photo from last cruise was delivered to our cabin. I'm happy to have photo of Captain Jeroen and Hotel Manager Mark Zeller. Been wonderful sailing with both.
We had delightful luncheon last week's Mariner's Luncheon. Special.
Also, last cruise there was Suite Welcome Aboard Party as usual but also another cocktail party at end of cruise. We had that on Maasdam as well and think it a nice added extra. They held it in Pinnacle Lounge........ great!
As to trays in Lido. They are very much present and word is there are no plans to eliminate them.
As to smoking......... HAPPY to report there is no smoking permitted in Ocean Bar and Crows Nest on Eurodam has always been smoke free.
Again....... sorry for the typos.
Bye

[B][B]Turned out to be a beautiful day at sea today.
We had Mariners Luncheon with gathering of Medallion Holders and Awardees in Queens' Room first. Very much enjoyed video they showed of Eurodam 'coming to life' in Fincantieri and then the Dedication.
When we get home, I'll try to condense the things I wrote here and comments I'll make later into some sort of cohesive post. So much I want to share about this beautiful ship.
Our two weeks have flown by but tomorrow we hope for a lovely day at HMC. That is the only good part about this cruise ending........ another chance for a day on the Island Paradise.
Loads more later.
