Butler Service on HMC

Has anyone had the butler service and is it worth the upgrade? Does the regular cabana guy get drinks from the various bars for you? With the butler service drinks are included right? With the cabana guy you pay for bar drinks right?

We havent had the butler service but my parents are on Nov. 13th. Drinks and lunch from the ship dinning room, he stays there and sreves only your cabana, he arrives in the am to carry your things and escort you right on a tender and to the cabana. You also get a nice Beach bag the night before to pack for the HMC. (4 times the size of the canvas bags!)

If you just have a cabana boy (man) he services 3 cabanas, yes you pay for the drinks. Bar-B-Q food is free :)

10/23 sailing ... cabanas are not operational at this time. Everyone got shipboard credit who reserved ahead of time.

Was there any word when they expect to finish rebuilding them?

looked like just 2 were "missing" - the others just needed finishing touches. no word on when, but hopefully soon since they looked pretty good.

When we were at HMC on October 8, they were in the process of rebuilding the cabanas and some looked close to completed then. But others were not near ready.

Yes, that is actually the one we tried to book but were too late, someone had already snagged it. It seems to be closest to the food too.
