Hello,
In past reviews people have spoken about the ship being warm in certain areas....can you please tell us if you found the ship to be warm, in public places and in hallways and cabins? Is it also warm eating in the Lido area? I know this sounds odd, but I love air conditioning (thats what happens when you live in Florida lol). Thank you.

The only place we found the Zuiderdam to be warm were by the entrance area's leading to the aft pool and midship pool from the Lido resturant and in the midship pool area. A/c worked really well in hall ways and cabins :) We were there in Aug and dh loves a/c too hehehe. I was perfect for him.

My husband got sick from strong A/C in the first night...but some PAX were complaining about A/C not working at all.
A/C was just fine in all areas for us..But it can get really hot in mid pool .(there is no ventilation there)

Every ship we have been on seems to have an air conditioning problem. It can be anywhere and change daily. One night it is cold in the casino and the next night too warm. The one area I think gets too hot consistently is the dining room. There have been times I removed my jacket because it was so hot. The fashion police must have missed it since I am alive and kicking.:)

Don't you know the secret?
They turn the AC up in the public rooms on formal nights so that you'll be more comfortable in your tuxedo's, gowns and furs....

I am still deciding whether to go on the Zui as I hate being warm. Granted near the pool I can understand there is no ventilation and that is outside, but in the dining room? Was that in the upper or lower dining room? Heat rises so perhaps the upper dining room is warmer, can anybody help me with this and thanks all.

We were in the upper dining room 2 weeks ago and everything was fine. If anything my wife felt she needed a wrap on some nights. It was never too warm. If you sit near the pool entrance on the lido deck it can get warm, but never in the dining roomsBill and Kate It was a wonderful ship!:)

A couple of nights were comfortable but we found more often than not it was warm with a couple of nights being quite warm. One never knows I guess :)
Oh, we also felt the vibration people speak of in the dining room at this table, we actually enjoyed it - it was the constant reminder we were on a cruise, just where we wanted to be! :)
The ship was awesome! :) :)
