Cruise ticket delivery?

This is our first time sailing with HAL and I was wondering when I should expect delivery of our cruise documents, we sail on Dec. 19th. I made final payment on our stateroom in September and final payment on our friend's stateroom the first of October.

Friends are sailing on the Dec. 19th and they have their docs already.

Sometimes it depends on whether you booked your own air or if HAL is doing it. If it's HAL, they usually don't come until a couple of weeks before the cruiseor it could be sooner. Check with your TA.

Thanks...we're doing our own air, plus I booked through an internet company rather than through HAL...maybe that makes a difference.

Ours have generally arrived 4-5 weeks prior to sailing, as we always get our own air. For our most recent cruise, however, they didn't arrive until about 2 weeks out.

We have booked using an internet TA and received our documents about 6 weeks prior to sailing. We always do our own air or drive.

We just got our documents for December 12th. We dealt with an internet company (by phone) and their policy is generally 7 to 10 days prior. Since I made my own air arrangements and we are leaving early, I asked for them to send them (since I knew my CC friends already had them) and they were very accommodating about doing so.

Thanks for that...we're leaving early too that's why the 7-10 days worried me. I'm going to try calling them.

TA (local AAA) called today to say our Dec. 22 Maasdam docs are in! I will pick them up tomorrow!
