To my dismay, on all the HAL cruises I have been on, there were never any water aerobics classes taught.:( They were advertised as an activity for the cruises in ad material, but I don't recall ever seeing one on a daliy as really being offered. Maybe this is different in Hawaii.

On our Maasdam cruise this summer, one of the cruise staff girls was running a water aerobics class at aft pool one day. I don't know if she did it daily as I only saw it once but I was not out at the pool that often. The few people who were participating seemed to really enjoy it and got good exercise.

On the Rotterdam last FEB there was an Aqua Aeobics class (for $11) on one afternoon in the Lido pool. I checked my dailies and this was the only offering on a ten day cruise.

If not aquatics classes, are there at least water exercise equipment such as the foam barbells or "noodles"? A friend and I (who met in an aquatics class) are going on the 12/5 Westerdam.

I have never seen any noodles or foam barbells around. Once or twice I saw a couple of kids with the noodles but I assumed they brought the noodles with them.
If you don't get any positive answers now, you can keeping check back on this board, since Hal has made a lot of changes lately and you never know what they adding.
