How much is a minibar?

We're on the Ryndam in an outside cabin, so no minibar. Can anyone tell me how much it costs to have one put in?

None of the mini-bars are free on any HAL ship. Everyone will pay for what they consume/use from either the fridge or the desk area. Are you perhaps asking about getting a small fridge in a cabin that doesn't have one?

Yes. Our cabin will not have one.

I believe it's $2.00 or $3.00 per day (I think $3). It's first come, first served, so if you are sure you want one have your TA request it ASAP.

Thanks Ruth. Do you know how big they are? And where would they put it? Finally..... do they do a good enough job to warrant the cost?:confused:

I've never requested one, but if it's anything like the ones on the Noordam, it isn't very large. And it's smaller on the inside!
It's placed under the desk---in the area where your legs would go if you were sitting there putting on make-up.

It keeps things cool, not cold.
